Sky has knocked almost £50 off its flagship TV, Netflix and Sky Cinema packages and is throwing in free cinema tickets and Paramount+.
Sky has kicked off its Christmas sale with a discounted package ideal for TV and movie lovers. In a new limited-time offer, the provider is giving away free streaming subscriptions, cinema tickets and £48 off its TV and Sky Cinema bundles.
The deal is available with two packages, including the Essential TV and Sky Cinema bundle. Reduced from £25 to £23 per month, this provides around 100 TV channels including Sky Atlantic, as well as more than 1,000 blockbuster films and timeless classics on demand.
There’s also the Ultimate TV and Sky Cinema bundle at £30, down from £32, which includes more than 35 extra channels than Essential TV. Both options also come with two free Vue cinema tickets every month, along with free Netflix, Paramount+ and Discovery+ subscriptions.
Sky claims its cinema packages include ‘more of the latest blockbusters than anywhere else’, with top upcoming releases including Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (December 19), A Minecraft Movie (Christmas Day) and Sinners (Boxing Day).
Among the countless movies available now are Wicked, Oppenheimer and Barbie, plus festive favourites like Elf, Love Actually, Die Hard and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation. With Sky Atlantic included at no extra cost, customers can also binge box sets such as Game of Thrones, The White Lotus and Succession, alongside Netflix hits like Stranger Things.
Sky Essential TV, Netflix and Sky Cinema

Sky has knocked almost £50 off Essential TV and Sky Cinema bundle, which comes with around 100 channels, more than 1,000 movies and subscriptions to Netflix, Paramount+ and Discovery+.
On Paramount+, there are hit shows like Landman, Tulsa King and Dexter: Resurrection, as well as plenty of Nickelodeon and MTV content. Elsewhere, Virgin Media’s extended Black Friday sale has entered its final hours, with three months free on the Cinema bundle ending at 11.59pm on December 10.
While more expensive at £46.99, this includes 362Mbps fibre broadband alongside more than 200 TV channels and a Netflix subscription. Sky and Virgin’s contracts run for 24 months, but keep in mind that both providers increase their prices each year.
Sky is yet to announce its new prices, but Virgin has confirmed customers on the £46.99 plan will see their bills rise to £50.99 from April 2026 and £54.99 from April 2027. Thousands of Sky customers have been sharing their experience with the brand on Trustpilot, where one five-star review says: “We have been with Sky for over a year now, very happy with the service.
“I believe in the year there was only one evening that the service wasn’t available due to a glitch. There are a lot of perks with Sky Cinema, including two free tickets to the cinema.
“We actually make use of the tickets, and it is a real plus to feel like we are helping out the local cinema.” Another says: “Switched to Sky Stream a few weeks back and so far it’s the best decision I’ve ever made. Installation takes care of itself, the remote even auto-tunes itself to the TV.”
Not everyone is convinced, as this customer said: “The service is okay, but contract price rises make it difficult to recommend.”
While this glowing review says: “We were recommended to purchase a Sky TV package. All channels, including Paramount+, Netflix and Discovery+, have saved us so much money. We are so happy, customer service is quick and easy.”
