Three men have been jailed for a total of six years after police raided a home in Carmarthen and found cocaine, cannabis, and ecstasy inside.
Officers from Dyfed-Powys Police executed a drugs warrant at the house in Park Hall near the centre of town and seized a stash of drugs and other items.
In total they found more than 14g of high-purity cocaine, 144g of cannabis, and a number of ecstasy tablets during the raid, which took place on March 10, 2020. They also seized four mobile phones, around £400 in cash, a BB gun, and a ‘Rambo-style’ hunting knife.

Officers arrested the occupant of the house, Joshua Davies, aged 21 and of Park Hall, Carmarthen, along with Alex Henry Davies, aged 19 and also of Park Hall, and Joshua Evans, aged 23 and of Heol y Meinciau, Pontyates.
The three men at first denied their guilt but police say they later changed their minds due to the sheer amount of evidence against them.
“All three provided ‘no comment’ answers during interview and pleaded not guilty at an initial hearing but the excellent work of the team produced an evidence pack that gave them no choice but to plead guilty in court,” said detective inspector Rhys Jones of Dyfed-Powys Police.
“The investigation was delayed due to extensive phone and forensic work as well as the pandemic so we’re pleased to get the result. These three men have involved themselves in the distribution of drugs, which is spreading misery through our communities and will not be tolerated.
“Our message to anyone else thinking of dealing drugs is that we will be coming for you and you will be punished.”
All three men appeared at Swansea Crown Court after admitting possession of drugs with the intent to supply.
Alex Davies was sentenced to 36 months in prison, Joshua Davies was sentenced to 21 months in prison, while Evans was handed a 15-month jail sentence.
