Exact time Putin will ‘probably’ resort to nuclear weapons as former Russian minister speaks out on war
Vladimir Putin will only resort to using nuclear weapons if Russia faces an “existential threat”, such as NATO troops invading Moscow, a former foreign minister has claimed.
Andrei Kozyrev, who served under Vladimir Putin’s predecessor Boris Yeltsin in the 1990s, played down the fears that the current Russian President will unleash the country’s nuclear forces imminently.
The Mirror reports that international experts are divided on the likelihood of this, with his invasion of Ukraine not going to plan.

A Scots guitarist who has worked with members of some of Scotland’s top bands has described the moment his arm was nearly severed in a horror workplace accident.
Keith Matheson thought he was going to die after the terrifying incident at a primary school in Brought by Ferry earlier this month.
His jumper caught in a spinning circular saw blade and pulled his left arm into it, slicing through just below the elbow.

Rangers B triumph over Celtic in Glasgow Cup shootout after two Hoops first team injuries and full time rammy

A Scots son who callously stole thousands of pounds from his disabled mum has been told by a sheriff : “You should really hang your head in shame.”
Daniel McDonald, 28, left his mother Jane Knox living in “sparse” conditions with empty cupboards, basic furniture, insufficient clothing and a broken cooker.
While she survived on microwave meals and charity from food banks he regularly took cash from her bank account and placed orders for Netflix movies, Playstation games, tanning sessions at Indigo Sun and takeaway meals from Just Eat.

A Rangers fan incited a boozy barney at a pub full of Celtic supporters by asking a youngster to run through the bar waving a Union Jack flag.
Cops raced to The Nip Inn in Johnstone’s Houstoun Square on Sunday night as chaos unfolded following the Old Firm Scottish Cup semi-final.
A source told the Express a man had enlisted the help of an 11-year-old boy to carry out the stunt.
