A busy summer has already kickstarted for Rangers following the signing of Lawrence Shankland
Rangers will push to bring back Mikey Moore from Tottenham amid a massive overhaul at the Premier League club.
That is according to Kris Boyd, with boss Roberto De Zerbi keen to make Manchester City winger Savinho one of his first recruits this summer.
While Spurs battled relegation last term, teenager Moore has impressed on loan in the Scottish Premiership and emerged as a key man for Rangers in their bid to land the title.
Gaffer Danny Rohl admitted he would like to work out a deal for the wonderkid to remain in Glasgow next season – while the player stated he wanted to push for a first-team spot in North London during pre-season.
Brazilian wide man Savinho looks to be inching towards an Etihad exit in search of first-team football, with reports suggesting a £60m payout would be required to sign the City star – which would push Moore down the pecking order instantly.
Football London report that Moore has a “queue of clubs from home and abroad” eyeing a deal – and Boyd reckons the Light Blues will be among them.
He said: “As a young player, I don’t think many people were expecting too much of Mikey Moore at Rangers this year, but as the season went on, he grew into it and integrated himself well into the club.
“In a season where Rangers performed well-below expectations in terms of winning silverware, Moore is one of the few players to have emerged from the season with some credit.
“It’s not easy to join a club as big as Rangers and perform in your first season, so I think he’s done very well.”
Out of contract Sunderland midfielder Dan Neil is also on the Light Blues agenda.
He was high up on Rohl’s Ibrox wish list during the winter window, but opted to try his luck in the English Championship with Ipswich Town instead.
Reports south of the border suggest Hull City are keen on signing the free agent following their promotion to the Premier League, while The Sun state “talks” are ongoing with the Glasgow giants.
In-demand Oskar Fallenius has also been told he can leave Djurgarden if the right offer comes in – amid reported interest from Ibrox.
The 24-year-old has been touted with a move to Ibrox this summer with only six months left of his contract at the Swedish club, while Wolfsburg are also said to be tracking the star.
When asked about Fallenius, boss Jani Honkavaara conceded to Expressen: “Quite a few will leave, and it can happen very quickly for a suitable fee. It cannot be helped.”
