Rangers legend Barry Ferguson insists Celtic can see off Bodo/Glimt despite their Europa Conference League humbling.
The Norwegian champions ran out 3-1 winners at Parkhead, with Daizen Maeda ‘s goal offering a lifeline for Ange Postecoglou before the trip to the Arctic Circle.
Ferguson believes the tie is far from over given the all-out attacking style put in place by the Australian.
He reckons the goal gives the Premiership leaders a foothold in the game to build on going into the second leg – telling The Go Radio Football Show it was a surprising “off night” for Celtic.
Ferguson said: “I thought they were a well drilled unit. There were some well-drilled players and they showed a real calmness on the ball.
“I think people will stand up and take notice of Bodo/Glimt as a very good football team.

“I don’t think Celtic would have been underestimating them and I think Postecoglou would have analysed them, but sometimes you just need to hold your hands up and say you got beat by the better team on the night.
“Bodo/Glmit for me throughly deserved their win.
“But Celtic are still in it, they got that goal back.
“They conceded straight after that, which will annoy Postecoglou, but they should go to Norway in a positive frame of mind.
“You are most vulnerable when you score a goal. That’s something heard Callum McGregor say afterwards, that they are a bit naive.
“They are a new team, but that was a sore one.”
