Rohl will be missing Dujon Sterling but Ryan Naderi was given a chance of making the game in West Lothian
Keept the same team that beat league leaders Hearts at home would have been a simple call for Danny Rohl.
But with Dujon Sterling now a major doubt for next week’s Old Firm derby with Celtic and new striker Ryan Naderi touch and go for today’s clash with Livingston, it’s not a luxury he will be afforded.
The German has Rangers on a roll and they are in the thick of the title race. You would have been laughed out of Livingston for suggesting that the last time the Ibrox club visited.
Max Aarons’ stoppage time goal rescued the win for Russell Martin’s team and they were still booed off at full-time.
They might be again if they drop points to the Premiership’s bottom club.
Replacing Sterling should be a straightforward call for Rohl, with skipper James Tavernier simply slotting into his usual right back role.
Naderi will require more thought if he misses out. Youssef Chermiti’s treble last weekend ensured he will lead the line, but without Naderi it will likely have to be more of a front three rather than a partnership.
That could see either Djeidi Gassama or Oliver Antman come in from the start with Mo Diomande added to midfield.
The rest will likely be pretty much the same as Rohl looks to keep pace with the Jambos after their on over Falkirk yesterday.
Predicted Rangers XI: Butland, Tavernier, Souttar, Fernandes, Rommens, Chukwuani, Raskin, Diomande, Skov Olsen, Moore, Chermiti.
