Google has unveiled its new Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL phones, while networks and retailers including Sky Mobile, Mobiles.co.uk, and Vodafone have launched pre-order deals with freebies and discounts worth hundreds of pounds
Google has officially unveiled the latest additions to its smartphone range with the Pixel 10 series. At the annual Made By Google event in New York City on Wednesday, Google launched its tenth generation of phones, the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL.
Prices start at £799 for the standard Pixel 10 and £1,199 for the Pixel 10 Pro XL, with each model due to land on shelves on August 28. They’re set to bring with them a wave of new features, including the new Tensor G5 chip and latest Gemini Nano AI model, plus a refreshed design and colours including ‘frost’ and indigo.
They also have upgraded cameras, a 24-hour battery and tough Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back. Ahead of their launch, retailers including Sky Mobile, Mobiles.co.uk, O2, Vodafone, EE and Amazon confirmed their pre-order pricing, with some dishing out freebies and price cuts to tempt shoppers with £100 gift cards, free earbuds and discounts worth hundreds of pounds.
With this in mind, we’ve pulled together our favourite Pixel 10 pre-order deals:
Sky Mobile
First up is Sky Mobile, which is offering the Pixel 10 from £24 when spreading the cost with £12 upfront. This comes with 100MB for free, but those needing more data can choose from pre-order SIM deals including 3GB for £6 or 50GB for £12.
The same goes for the Pixel 10 Pro, which starts at £29 with £12 upfront, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL costs £37 with £12 upfront. Customers who pre-order a handset from the Google Pixel 10 range will receive an enhanced trade-in bonus of up to £250 on top of their old phone’s value, as well as free Google AI Pro for six or 12 months.
Mobiles.co.uk
Customers who pre-order the Pixel 10 series from Currys-backed retailer Mobiles.co.uk can enjoy a free Google Premium Subscription, a £100 Currys gift card and claim a pair of Buds 2 Pro. Each of these freebies comes with the standard Pixel 10 on iD Mobile’s 100GB tariff, costing £29.99 per month with £59 upfront.
Those opting for the Pixel 10 Pro can bag the same bundle on Google Pixel 10 Pro for £33.99 per month and £129 upfront, with the Pixel 10 Pro XL coming in at £39.99 per month and £129 upfront.
O2
O2’s pre-order offer slashes up to £450 on select tariffs for each Pixel 10 model until October 1. Shoppers opting for the standard Pixel 10 can pay £35.85 and £30 upfront for the 15GB tariff, with the same plan for the Pixel 10 Pro costing £41.91 per month and £30 upfront.
Those preferring the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL will pay £45.46 per month and £30 upfront, with each plan coming with the choice to swap to a new phone every 90 days with O2 Switch Up. O2 will also give customers up to £200 off when they recycle their old device through O2 Recycle.
Vodafone
Vodafone’s pre-order pricing comes in at £41.50 per month with £30 upfront for the Pixel 10, on a 36-month phone plan and 24-month unlimited data plan. The Pixel 10 Pro is only £3 more each month for the same unlimited data deal, priced at £44.50 per month with £40 upfront, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL is £50 per month with £50 upfront.
Vodafone also offers a hefty trade-in bonus of up to £1,116 on certain devices, plus the option to swap the phone every year with Vodafone Xchange.
EE
EE has launched an introductory offer on its 125GB monthly data plan on each Pixel 10 model, with new and upgrading customers able to save up to £644 on select models. These are still towards the pricer end of the pre-orders deals, with one option for the Pixel 10 coming in at £45.95 per month and £30 upfront on the 125GB Essentials plan.
The same tariff for the Pixel 10 Pro costs £50.10 per month and £30 upfront, while the Pixel 10 Pro XL is £53.13 per month and £30 upfront. However, customers can bring the cost down by trading in their old phone, with discounts of up to £720 up for grabs when swapping devices like the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Amazon
Google fans preferring to buy the phone outright can pre-order an unlocked Pixel 10 from Amazon for £799 and receive a £100 Google Play gift code and 60-days free trial of Audible Premium Plus. The same deal for the Pixel 10 Pro comes in at £999, with the Pixel 10 Pro XL costing £1,199.
