If you’re an EE customer, you get an exclusive invite, so make sure you’re at the front of the queue
We all love a good deal in the UK, especially when it comes to tech or entertainment products like smartphones or TVs. These gadgets are expensive, though, meaning we are sometimes sadly unable to snap up the next hot device.
Luckily, then, EE has unveiled a new money-saving scheme for millions of us – but you need to act fast or risk losing out. Once a month, EE Tech Store will drop a huge deal on a piece of the most popular tech – only in the EE App.
Dubbed EE Tech Drops, the monthly initiative will see the EE Tech Store offer a huge saving on a limited amount of stock of the hottest tech. The tech can only be purchased via the EE App – and is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Existing EE mobile and home broadband customers will be first to know about the new offers, receiving an alert up to 24 hours before they become available.
Excitingly, there is no need to wait around. The first drop happens today, Thursday, April 17, with Beats Studio Pro headphones reduced to just £149, that is less than half the price of the £349.99 RRP.
But remember – the price cut is only available for a limited amount of time on a limited amount of stock.
“As part of our mission to offer customers access to the best tech, we’re excited to unveil our new monthly Tech Drops initiative,” Sam Kemp, Director of Gaming and Consumer Electronics at EE, said.
“Launching this week, our first EE Tech Drop will give thousands of people the chance to make huge savings on one of the hottest pieces of tech on the market. But they must be quick as the deals only run for a limited time period.”
With a portable lightweight design, Beats Studio Pro headphones deliver rich, immersive sound. The Integrated digital processor optimises frequency responses for a powerful, balanced sound profile, and a fully adaptive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) keeps users immersed in the music.
What’s more, Beats Studio Pro headphones come with personalised spatial audio with dynamic head tracking for theatre-like sound. And if you miss out this time, don’t worry.
All customers need to do is download the EE App and look out for the next Tech Drop, which is a one-of-its-kind perk. EE vows to offer great deals across items such as laptops, headphones, and TVs, all at an “incredible” price.
It comes after April saw numerous broadband, TV and mobile suppliers – including EE – start to increase rates for existing customers in line with inflation, even mid-contract.
Anyone who signed up for a new broadband deal from January 17, 2025 will be on a fixed annual price increase, which isn’t tied to any inflation figures.
However, many providers started putting their new customers on this fixed increase in 2024.
So, if you started a new broadband contract recently, you might be subject to this price hike instead.
EE offered the set price increase instead of inflation on contracts starting on or after April 10, 2024.
