Fashion fans have been wowed by a brand new Louis Vuitton café – you can drink from branded cups and sauces and enjoy ‘exceptional’ food before catching a flight
A new designer café has made its grand debut at Heathrow Airport, offering “exceptional” cuisine and a chance to peruse the latest Louis Vuitton accessories.
Whether you’re jetting off on holiday, visiting loved ones or embarking on a business trip, planning your airport arrival time is crucial. If you find yourself with time to spare before your flight, it is a good time to indulge in some last-minute shopping or enjoy a meal at one of the many eateries and bars available.
For those seeking a more luxurious experience away from the hustle and bustle, Louis Vuitton has unveiled Le Café Cyril Lignac. Centrally located in Heathrow’s Terminal 2, the café caters to travellers throughout the day, offering both counter service and table seating for those wishing to enjoy a snack, hot dish, pastry, or coffee.
Louis Vuitton reveals: “This intimate café adjoins a new Louis Vuitton store, distinguished by its exceptional, aerodynamic façade designed in collaboration with renowned architect Marc Fornes.”

The café’s vibrant décor, featuring brightly coloured chairs, hanging bird sculptures and striking artwork, sets it apart from your typical airport eatery. The café’s menu boasts an array of pastries, including a £9 pain au chocolat, gianduja or strawberry brioche, and a classic croissant that costs £7.50. Patrons can also indulge in various snacks and salads.
Hot beverages are presented in Louis Vuitton branded cups and saucers, with the luxury label even making an appearance in the coffee foam and on biscuits. Among the more substantial offerings are a £30 lobster roll, £22 Royal eggs, a £28 French truffle croque-monsieur, £18 sliced avocado toast and eggs, a £32 crab-avocado salad, and a £22 chicken Caesar salad.
A glimpse into the venue was shared by the popular social media travel page First Class Jerk, who describes themselves as “an unapologetic voice for the discerning traveller”. Commenting on the café’s opening, they remarked: “While the collaboration itself is interesting, what stands out here is another luxury fashion house expanding into the travel and hospitality space.”
They added: “LV [Louis Vuitton] is making a concerted effort to reach its clientele in new places…expanding the brand’s experience to reach travellers. Would you take a seat at the LV café before your flight?” The post quickly garnered hundreds of comments.
One user added: “What do you think a Louis Vuitton avocado tastes like? ” Another shared: “I was just there.” And a third praised the concept as a “great idea”. “This is gorgeous,” noted one admirer.
“Love this,” chimed in another. An enthusiastic fan expressed: “Would love to swing by on my next trip.”
