Aaron Ramsey looks set to be pushed further out of the picture at Juventus with manager Max Allegri reportedly eyeing another new midfielder.
The Welshman arrived on loan at Ibrox in January and still hopes to help fire Rangers to a successful finish.
He’s had an injury-stunted start to life in Glasgow but made his second against Dundee and will be in contention to feature against Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.
Reports in Italy over Ramsey ‘s long-term future have conflicted but it’s believed Rangers have first refusal to buy him in the summer.
Should Gio van Bronckhorst decide against making the move permanent though his prospects of forcing his way back into the Juve team look bleak.
Juventus already have the likes of Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie, Denis Zakaria, Arthur, and Adrien Rabiot available in Ramsey’s position.
And it’s being reported in Italy they want one more signing in that area with Allegri seemingly unconvinced a returning Ramsey can force his way into the team.
Former Arsenal midfielder Ramsey hasn’t played for Juventus since September due to injury and form and it’s believed his contract runs to 2024.
They will be keen to offload him in the summer and there was interest from the English Premier League before he joined Rangers in January.
