“Girls, run to Lidl – this smells identical…”
Much like its rival Aldi, Lidl has become known for its ‘dupes’. The supermarket’s in-house Cien brand has essentially become a goldmine for finding high quality products that mimic major brands.
One of the latest products to land on shelves has been the Spa Moments Shower Foam range. Think they look similar to Rituals? According to social media, they are “identical.”
These spa-inspired shower products recently landed on store shelves but are already a huge hit. Usually priced at just £2.49, they come available in three scents – oriental herbs and musk, creamy rose blossom, and woody orange flower.
With the “luxurious” foaming texture and minimalist packaging design, they could easily be mistaken for the beloved high street wellness brand. What sets them apart is price, with Rituals costing around £10.90, which is £8.41 more expensive than Lidl.
Meanwhile, Lidl’s Cien range of Spa Moments Shower Foams have become loved for their “divine” scent. With its rich, silky foaming lather, it pampers the skin with a little bit of TLC, leaving it feeling soft and smooth.
Foaming shower gels aren’t just offered by Rituals and Lidl. When applied onto damp skin, they transform into a luxurious lather that is said to be more hydrating than a typical body wash.
Numerous beauty enthusiasts have taken to TikTok to highlight the similarities between the two brands. Many were so impressed by the likeness that they were urging others to “run” to get their hands on the shower foam.

Fellow excited shopper @hcrawf0rd who shared the find said: “Might have just found the most perfect dupe! I love Rituals Mehr. Run to Lidl!”
The shower foams went viral on Facebook recently after they were shared to the Bargain Lovers UK page, with one member saying: “Oh wow look I will be trying this x.”
Another who tagged their friend added: “If u see this grab me them all”. While someone else confirmed: “The yellow is the exact same.”
While Lidl’s shower gels seem to be an excellent budget version, it is worth noting that Rituals offers a wider variety of scents. Stocking over 200 signature aromas, there is a lot more than Lidl that is limited to just three.
Just some other options available from the iconic spa brand are Ayurveda, Karma, Jing and Yozakura. Each of them boast that classic ‘gel to foam’ texture that the firm has become known for providing.
Meanwhile, Lidl’s ‘dupes’ don’t just stop at beauty products. The supermarket is also stocking a brand new ice cream machine that rivals the iconic Ninja Creami – but for £180 less.
Making its debut in the middle aisle today (July 16), the Silvercrest Premium Ice Cream Maker is available to buy for just £69.99. As for the Ninja gadget, it tends to cost up to £250. Aside from making ice cream, it can also do smoothies, gelato and even sorbet.
Lidl shoppers can find the Cien Spa Moments Shower Foams in stores now. Remember, stock levels can vary in each store.
