The tech giant also showcased the ‘world’s slimmest vacuum cleaner’ at the event in Berlin.
Homeware technology giant Dyson is set to launch a robot vacuum cleaner that boasts AI features to help households clean with ease in the future.
This is part of a new range of 11 products that were unveiled at a launch event in Berlin, which is said to include a range of “new formats” along with “re-engineered” versions of trusted Dyson products.
Sir James Dyson announced the new Dyson Spot and Scrub AI Robot Vacuum at the event, which is said to have been engineered to clean both wet and dry floors, making it a must-have device for all households.

The robot vacuum will be equipped with AI Stain Detection which will allow it to identify dirt in your home before cleaning it up, all the while avoiding any obstacles that may get in its way.
With robot vacuums becoming increasingly popular over the years, the AI element will set Dyson apart from the rest and the device will be more intuitive to what kinds of stains are on the floor and how to clean it most effectively.
For those wanting to snap up a robot vacuum, one of the most popular on Amazon is the eufy L60 Robot Vacuum Cleaner. Normally retailing for £249.99, shoppers can now snap it up for £189.99 in a prime member sale. With a 5,000 Pa suction, this device can clean up hair, crumbs and dust effortlessly, leaving floors cleaner in one pass.
Alternatively, for those looking for a new Dyson device for everyday use, shoppers can currently save £100 on the Dyson V8™ Advanced vacuum. Dyson has dropped the price of this cordless vacuum down from £329.99 to £229.99. Along with three attachments, this device is equipped with a 40 minute run time.
Along with the AI Robot Vacuum, Sir James Dyson also unveiled new products such as a clean and wash hygiene cleaner, a V16 animal vacuum cleaner and Hushjet purifier compact.
However, many people were waiting in anticipation to see the “world’s slimmest vacuum” – the PencilVac. Said to feature a diameter of only 38mm, the PencilVac is expected to be launched in the UK early next year.
The slim vacuum features Dyson’s new Fluffycones cleaner head, which is four conical brush bars in two brush bars that move in opposite directions.
This design is said to eject hairs as they are picked up, thus preventing the hair from wrapping and tangling around the brush bar.
The vacuum also includes Dyson’s smallest and fastest vacuum motor to date, which is only 28mm in diameter – about the same size as a £2 coin. Spinning at up to 140,000RPM, this motor can generate 55AW of powerful suction.
At the event Sir James Dyson said: “Over the years we have re-imagined the format of products through design, technology and state-of-the-art research.
“Developing new technology motors, heaters, separation systems and aerodynamics has enabled us to radically change the format yet make high-performing products.
“We invented the cyclonic no-loss-of-suction vacuum, the high-speed motor, cord-free stick format, robotic vision navigation, the bladeless fan, Airblade hand dryer and the ultra high-speed digital Supersonic hair dryer.
He finished by saying: “Today we are introducing new formats together with re-engineered Dyson products.”
