People in Scottish towns and cities including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen can get a big discount on Sky’s fastest broadband, but the deal ends soon.
People living in 16 Scottish towns and cities can save more than £140 off the brand’s fastest broadband package. In a new limited-time deal, areas including Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen can get a £6 monthly discount on Sky’s Full Fibre Gigafast.
Typically £31 per month in Full-Fibre-ready areas, it’s now available for £25 to customers in eligible areas. This represents a total saving of £144 over the 24-month contract.
Customers taking advantage of the offer will receive internet speeds of up to 900Mbps, ideal for busy households using several devices for 4K streaming and gaming. However, the discount isn’t around for long, with Sky setting an April 1 deadline to get the deal.

The deal is only available for Full-Fibre-ready areas across Scotland. To check eligibility, customers can enter their postcode in the availability checker on Sky’s website.
What’s more, Sky will pay customers up to £200 if they switch to cover early termination fees charged by their current provider. A caveat to the deal is that Sky says its prices ‘may change’ during the minimum term.

Similarly, Plusnet’s Full Fibre 900 is £31.99 and comes with an £80 reward card to spend at countless retailers. For those sticking with Sky, customers have left thousands of positive reviews of the brand on Trustpilot.
One says: “Had broadband switched over. Was done fast and had a smooth transition.”
Another says: “Changed Sky and broadband today. Excellent, helped me save a fortune.”
Not every review is glowing, as this customer says: “Expensive but better than BT. I’ve been with Sky for a long time. My only complaints are the cost and trying to speak to a human being.”
Nevertheless, another five-star review says: “The man who came to fit my fibre broadband was really friendly and explained everything. Even managed to get a better deal on my package.”
