Temporary speed limits will be in place for potentially 18 months
- Motorists will face new speed restrictions on the A483 trunk road between Pont Abraham and Llandeilo as essential roadworks take place.
- Welsh Ministers ordered the work under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, setting out the modifications.
- Speed limits will be temporarily reduced to 50mph, 40mph, or 10mph, varying according to the section of road as specified in the notice.
- In particular sections, a 10mph restriction will be implemented during convoy operations, where overtaking will be prohibited.
- This order takes effect from Monday, June 15, with the restrictions and overtaking ban operating periodically from that date and potentially continuing for up to 18 months.
