Falkirk made history. Martin O’Neill might be history.
John McGlynn’s Bairns took down Celtic for the first time in 19 years with their stunning 2-0 victory.
And it’s left O’Neill in serious bother with his malfunctioning Hoops starting to come apart at the seams.
Bairns keeper Scott Bain had a stormer to keep his old side at bay.
But it was the familiar failings in this Celtic squad that were brutally exposed as red-hot Falkirk made it four top flight wins on the spin.
Celts may still be four points clear at the top of the table but no one is fooled.
This is well and truly crisis time for the Parkhead club – with just three wins in 10 games.
And if anything, the Hoops are getting worse by the week.
Defensively, they were a shambles here. Wide open in midfield, weak down the flanks and jittery at the back.
Ethan Ross brilliantly pounced on a woeful gaffe by returning Cameron Carter-Vickers to lead inside three minutes.
Scott Tanser skipped in to bury a second before the break with Bain batting away attempts by Camilo Duran in between.
Celts were spared a third by VAR clocking a Jamie Murrell handball when he bundled in.
But there was no way back thanks to Bain’s heroics and Hoops bungling, with subs James Forrest and Benjamin Nygren both denied by the keeper.
And now it’s O’Neill who might need saving.
