Let’s face it, the sunnier weather has us dreaming off balmier climates, an all-inclusive resort and, of course, happy hour. That’s why the bargain retailer’s latest line-up of home scents is proving hugely popular with shoppers.
Now available to buy in stores, the Wickford & Co. Candles have always been a hit with homeware fans. From seasonal aromas to premium Jo Malone ‘dupes’, there’s a reason the collection is often considered to be a must-have.
The latest take inspiration from some of our favourite cocktails – there’s Sweet Strawberry Daiquiri, Piña Colada and Sea Salt Caribbean Ocean. However, coming in at just £2.99 each, they cost less than an order at the bar.
Despite the humble less than £3 price-tag, the budget chain’s candles are said to provide an impressive burn time of up to 24-hours. In the past, other enthusiasts have raved over the power of the aroma and its ability to fill the room.
In the latest summer cocktail line-up, the Sea Salt Caribbean Ocean scent is said to “bring the refreshing scent of the Caribbean into your home”. Offering notes of the crisp ocean and sunnier beach days, it will instantly transport you to a lush paradise.

“Which one are you lighting first: Sweet Strawberry Daiquiri, Piña Colada or Sea Salt Caribbean Ocean?”
Numerous shoppers flocked to the comments to share their enthusiasm for the new homeware items, as one raved: “I got the pina colada one and it’s lovely.”
A second impressed shopper wrote: “The strawberry Daiquiri is 11/10.”
Another eager Instagram user responded: “Oh they sound lush xx.”
While someone else eager to get their hands on them added: “Omg need all three.”
Of course, not all responses were positive, as a few shoppers who bought the candles were disappointed at the smell. One such comment read: “I didn’t think that had any smell. Disappointing.”
