Ipswich Town are finally ready to sanction Finley Barbrook’s loan to Falkirk.
Record Sport broke the story back in June that John McGlynn had targeted the midfielder.
The Bairns had to wait for the Premier League new boys to get their squad together before they allowed the 21-year-old out.
The Tractor Boys have started to do some major summer business, bringing in the likes of Daizen Maeda from Celtic.
Barbrook played 45 minutes in Ipswich’s friendly over Le Havre on Tuesday.
Boss Gary O’Neil now feels it is time for Barbrook to go out and get more first-team minutes.
Barbrook has had recent loans at Colchester United, Lincoln City, Sutton United and Chelmsford City.
Falkirk’s success with the likes of Filip Lissah and Kyrell Wilson on loan from Swansea City was a key factor it getting this deal over the line.
Wilson has just sealed a move to KAA Gent in recent days.
Ipswich hope Barbrook can make a similar impact at Falkirk
