          Peacefully at home in Rhiwbina on Thursday the 13th of January. John, loving husband of Jean, much loved father to Rebecca and Lloyd, father-in-law to Gareth and Candice, adored grandfather to Tomos, Evan and George. Resting at Green Willow, Heath, Cardiff until the Funeral service on Friday 11th February, Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 11.45. Family flowers only. Donations in John’s memory may be made to Cancer Research Wales or City Hospice, Whitchurch, Cardiff in John’s memory.

          Brian BENNETT

          Peacefully at home on January 11th Brian, dear brother of Cheryl, brother in law of David and cherished uncle of Debbie and Stephen. Brian was a long standing member of Cardiff RFC and a dedicated member of the Cardiff Arms Park Male Voice Choir. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by his many friends and all those who knew him. Resting at James Summers, Roath Court CF24 1XP. The funeral service will be held at St. Margaret’s Church, Roath on Friday February 11th at 11:00am followed by a small service at Northern Cemetery Thornhill. Donations in Brian’s memory can be made to The Salvation Army.

          Dorothy Winifred Beatrice FLOWER

          Sadly, on Wednesday 12th January, Dorothy passed away at the University of Wales Hospital, Aged 92. Devoted wife of the late Thomas John Flower (Bud), loving Mum to David, Kenny, Jackie, Jill, Heather and John. Mother in law to Andrea, Kathy, Albert, Ian, Claire and Lynne. A wonderful grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. The funeral service will take place on Friday 11th February at Thornhill Crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 2pm. Family flowers only, however donations to Dementia UK, 356 Holloway Road, London, N7 6PA in Dorothy’s memory are welcome.           Passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at University Hospital on 20th January 2022. Loved and devoted husband for 63 years to Pauline (nee Gee). Loving Dad to Nicola, Paul, Patrick and Richard. Father in law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Much loved Brother and Uncle. Good friend to all who knew him. Resting in the care of James Summers Funeralcare until the funeral service at The Wenallt Chapel, Thornhill on Thursday 17th February at 2.45pm, followed by Interment at Thornhill Cemetery at 3.30pm.           (Len) Peacefully passed away on 25th January 2022. Loving husband of Vi. Proud dad of Julie, Mark and Ian. Respected father-in-law of Frank, Mandy and Steph. Adored grampy of Katy, Gaz, Beth, Kayleigh, Ben, Jenna, Joel and Sasha. Great grampy of Jacob, Kobi, Raya, Adam and Isaac. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral service to be held at Thornhill Crematorium, Briwnant Chapel on Friday 11th February at 12pm. Family flowers only but donations if so desired to the RNLI directly.           Peacefully on the 24th January 2022, surrounded by his loving family, Leslie, aged 90 years. Beloved husband of Sue; loving Dad of Caroline, David and James; wonderful Father in law of Nia and Chantelle and a cherished Papa of James, Robyn, Owen, Lois and Zac. Les will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

          David St John GRIFFITHS

          David, beloved husband of Mavis, father to Gillian and grandfather to Joshua and Isaac sadly passed away on the 12th January 2022 aged 91. David served as a Royal Engineer and later as the National Welfare Officer for the British Korean War Veterans Association, a role he held alongside his full time profession of designer with South Glamorgan County Council. He was also a dedicated member of The “Not Forgotten” Association for the Ex-Service Disabled. A funeral service will take place on Thursday 10th February at 2pm in The Wenallt Chapel Thornhill. Family flowers only please, however donations in aid of Admiral Nurses Dementia UK would be gratefully received.

          Peacefully passed away on Saturday 22nd of January at her home in Llanrumney, Aged 91 years. Beloved wife of the late Raymond. Much loved Mum of Raymond, Gail & Jayne. Adored grandmother of Steven and James, and Cherished Great grandmother who will be sadly missed by all. Funeral at 10am on Thursday 17th February at St.Cadoc’s R.C. Church, Llanrumney, followed by cremation at Thornhill crematorium, Wenallt Chapel at 11.45am.           Peacefully, on Thursday 30th December, Angela fell asleep at her home after her brave battle which was fought with great strength and determination, Aged 51 years. Angela was surrounded by her heartbroken husband and best friend Phil, and her four loving sons Ryan, Jake, Aron and Max. Angela truly was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by her friends and colleagues. Phil and the boys would especially like to thank the team at The Velindre Hospital, The City Hospice team and the Healthcare at Home nurses who cared for Angela.
