Dharma Pongrekun, Jakarta Governor candidate number 2, offers a blockchain-based solution to increase the transparency and integrity of public policy in Jakarta.
Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana's blockchain program, called Getok Tular Adab (Aspiration, Decentralization and Blockchain), is designed to improve the people's economy with a fair and transparent approach.
“Getok Tular Adab is an adab economic system that is the center of Jakarta's economy, which will solve all the economic problems that exist in Jakarta,” said Dharma in second debate DKI Jakarta Regional Election, Sunday (27/10/2024).

Who is Dharma Pongrekun?
Police Commissioner General. (Ret.) Dharma Pongrekun, who also has the honorary title Dr. (HC), born on January 12 1966. He is a retired National Police officer who most recently served as Main Policy Analyst for the Jianbang Sector at the National Police Education and Training Institute.
Before retiring, he had a long career as a detective officer and held various strategic positions, including as Deputy Head and Deputy for Identification and Detection at the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), as well as Pati at Bareskrim Polri.
Dharma, a 1988 graduate of the Police Academy (Akpol) who has Toraja blood, has built a solid track record in the field of narcotics eradication, both as Karorenmin and Dirtipnarkoba Bareskrim Polri.
In the 2024 Jakarta Governor Election, he ran with his partner, Kun Wardana, making them the only pair of candidates who ran through the independent route to successfully pass.
Progress Through Independent Paths
Carrying the principle of independence, the couple stated that they wanted to bring about change without any pressure and political interests. Their steps in Jakarta are an attempt to break the party's dominance in government.
According to Dharma, Jakarta's economic problems so far cannot be separated from limited access for citizens to participate in fair policy making.
The Dharma Pongrekun blockchain program also wants economic equality so that people living in Jakarta no longer feel burdened by the high cost of living.
“Because just by staying at home the economy will enter the coffers. “So the people of Jakarta no longer feel worried about being evicted from Jakarta even though the cost of living is expensive,” he explained in the debate.
His seriousness in building a just economic system is also reflected in the Adab Dharma Pongrekun and Kun Wardana programs, which enable the community to support their vision through crypto assets such as USDC and USDT. According to him, blockchain can ensure openness in every transaction and economic process. He and his deputies in the upcoming regional elections want to create a fair system of government if elected later.
“Before moving towards a prosperous Jakarta society, the government system must be just and civilized. Kun Wardana and I are committed to encouraging transparency and public participation in every policy, especially those related to the benefit of the people of Jakarta,” he stressed at X, Sunday (27/10/2024).
Through AdabDAOthe pair hopes that Jakarta residents can be more empowered by participating in public policy directly. This technology allows every voice to be heard without any intervention from certain parties.
The Adab Dharma Pongrekun program and its representatives have also been carefully designed. They have assembled a team of experts to ensure that this plan is not just an initial concept, but a concrete step towards realization.
